Pakistan Army inducts Chinese-made mobile air defence system
LY-80 LOMADS is capable of tracking and destroying aerial targets at longer ranges

“LY-80 is a Chinese mobile air defence system, capable of tracking and destroying variety of aerial targets at longer ranges flying at low and medium altitude,” read the communique.

The induction ceremony was held at Army Auditorium where Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa was present as the chief guest.
COAS said the newly inducted LY-80 LOMADS will increase the response capability to current and emerging air defence threats.
