RAWALPINDI: Nearly two months after a 13-year-old boy reportedly went missing from Qasimabad area of Rawalpindi, the police had finally registered a case for his disappearance.

Amir Sohail had disappeared from within the limits of Naseerabad police on January 17.

His father, Badil Khan had approached the Naseerabad police to register a complaint that his son had left home but did not return. He had asked the police to trace his son since his own search did not yield any result.

Talking to the media on Saturday, Badil said that his son had a cataract in his right eye and hence he could not see in one eye. He added that his son had been wearing blue a shalwar kameez with a black coat when he went missing.

Meanwhile, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Cantonment Raja Taifoor said that police had received a complaint from the missing boy’s father.
