She recieved a citation certificate and Rs100,000 on behalf of the Dawood Global Foundation, Dawood Capital Management Ltd, Ladies Fund Mishal and Higher Education Commission (HEC) for her services in English language teaching. Khurshid said that she intended to use the prize money to utilise online social media tools such Facebook, Skype, Twitter and Google-chat etc for networking, mentoring and communicating with women around the world.
