ISLAMABAD: A sessions court Tuesday rejected bail applications of four suspects who had allegedly killed a hotel owner in Islamabad’s Sitara Market in December last year.

Nisarul Haq, who owned Star Hotel located in Sector G-7 Markaz, had been shot inside his hotel on December 9. Haq was allegedly gunned down by four people who were running his hotel on contract. The hotel owner had reportedly demanded that the contractors vacate his property as soon as possible, but an altercation broke out over the return of the security deposit.

Shakeel Abbasi, the contractor, was arrested on December 21 in Bhara Kahu while the other suspects were arrested later on.
