ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will leave for Kuwait on Monday (today) where he will hold in-depth discussions with the Kuwaiti leadership.

The prime minister will stay in Kuwait for two days, according to a press release.

Sharif is to be accompanied by Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Special Assistant to PM on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi and Board of Investment Chairman Miftah Ismail.

Besides holding delegation-level talks with Kuwaiti PM Sheikh Jaber al Mubarak, the prime minister would also address gatherings of select Kuwaiti investors, as well as members of the Pakistani community residing in Kuwait, the statement said.

Pakistan suspends visa accord with Kuwait

Pakistan and Kuwait enjoy brotherly relations. A large number of Pakistani community lives in the Gulf state and sends foreign exchange back to the country.
