ISLAMABAD: A man who used to impersonate police officers and loot people while pretending to frisk them has been arrested.

Industrial Area police said that Mir Vaisa and his family complained of being deprived of their cash and mobile phones at gunpoint by a man who was posing as a policeman.

Faking it: Unethical practices at the top encourage imposters

A case was lodged and an investigation was launched.

However, after SP Industrial Area Hassan Iqbal took notice of the attack, ASP Hassam Bin Ashraf was tasked to nab the alleged imposter.

He formed a police team comprising SHO Inspector Khalid Mahmoud Awan, ASI Khalid Hussain and others.
