Illegal occupation: CDA issues eviction notices to eight govt houses
The action has been taken on the directions of CDA Administration Member Yasir Peerzada
ISLAMABAD:
The Administration directorate of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued notices to eight government quarters which had been illegally occupied by employees of the civic body without due entitlement or allotment.
Apart from the notices to vacate these houses, the Administration directorate has asked the Human Resource Development Directorate of CDA to initiate disciplinary proceedings against these civic agency’s employees for ‘tresspassing on official property’.
The action has been taken on the directions of CDA Administration Member Yasir Peerzada.
Peerzada said that allotment of government accommodation to CDA Employees would be made under established norms and procedures.
The CDA had already issued eviction notices to retired CDA employees who were still occupying government-provided accommodation despite the passage of the six-month grace period.
