Four more police stations added to District Malir

Mobina Town, Sacchal, Sohrab Goth and Site Super Highway transferred from District East’s jurisdiction

KARACHI: Four more police stations have been added to the ambit of District Malir, according to a notification issued by the Sindh chief secretary on Wednesday.

The newly added police stations are Mobina Town, Sacchal, Sohrab Goth and Site Super Highway.

“In partial modification of this department’s notification of even number date 06-01-2015 and in pursuance of the provisions contained in clause (s) of sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1898, the police division Sohrab Goth consisting of four police stations including Mobina Town, Sacchal, Sohrab Goth and Site Super Highway are hereby transferred and withdrawn from police district of East and are included in the police district Malir,” reads a notification issued on Wednesday.

With the addition of these four police stations, District Malir now has 17 police stations.
