Kourtney Kardashian called out for letting four-year-old wear a lip ring

The Kardashians sure know how to stay relevant over social media in one way or another. While much of Hollywood was out, glamouring it up at the Oscars after-party, Kourtney - the eldest Kardashian sister - became a topic of debate by simply staying home.
It all started when Kourtney posted a picture of her four-year-old daughter Penelope, wearing a lip ring.
Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick back together?
In the picture, Kourt looks relaxed as her daughter is lying right beside her. The post is captioned, "Our Oscar Sunday. Yes, that's a lip ring. Thanks @kimkardashian"

Soon after Kourtney posted this picture, she became a victim of backlash and accused of bad parenting.
One user wrote:
Another one questioned her sanity.
Talk about being in the limelight...
Some supported the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star. One Instagram user went on to say that Kourtney was just having fun with her kid and the lip ring isn't real.
Another wasn't happy about all the negativity coming towards little P and Kourt.
Kourtney's post also thanked Kim Kardashian, for possible inspiration for the lip ring, as Mrs West was the first one to sport it on Valentine's Day.
It is still unclear whether Kourt and Scott Disick's second baby was actually wearing a lip ring or it was clip on. Whatever the case may be, Kourtney may need to come up with some sort of explanation real soon.
