A magnitude 5.3 earthquake was felt in northern Pakistan on Tuesday evening, the United States Geological Survey confirmed.
No casualties have been reported so far.
According to Express News, tremors were felt in Peshawar, Chitral, Swat, Abottabad, Haripur, Bajaur Agency, Nathia Gali, Kohistan, Mansehra, Buner and adjoining areas. It was also felt in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir.
The quake had a depth of 10 kilometres with an epicentre in Tajikistan.
