This was said by Minister for Higher Education Raza Ali Gillani while speaking to The Express Tribune on Monday.
Gillani added as the education system in colleges had been designed at par with the education system in developed countries like USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand and Europe, the demand for faculty had increased with the advancement of courses.
He maintained the provincial chief minister wanted to raise the level of education both at the university and college level. He said, “The BS four year programme that has been initiated in the colleges is an example of our commitment and reforms in education sector.”
The minister said huge funds had been allocated for higher education sector similar to health and school education.
