Saving The Environment: Ghotki DC inaugurates plantation drive  

The DC said the district administration will appoint volunteers for the campaign

SUKKUR:
Ghotki deputy commissioner (DC) Aijaz Shah inaugurated on Saturday the tree plantation drive by planting a sapling at the DC office. According to a press release, the DC, while addressing the ceremony, directed the officials to carry out the plantation campaign in their respective departments. “The trees make our environment pleasant and also save us from pollution,” said Shah. He emphasised that not only saplings should be planted, but the old ones should also be protected. The DC said the district administration will appoint volunteers for the campaign.
