Appointments: Abu Dhabi group gets new president

KARACHI: The Abu Dhabi Group has appointed Atif Bajwa as president of the group in Pakistan, says a press release. Bajwa’s appointment is part of the group’s restructuring of investments globally and is part of a move to strengthen management and supervision of businesses.

Bajwa has over 28 years of international management experience and has worked in Europe, US, Middle East and Pakistan. He had most recently taken up the position of CEO at Soneri Bank.

He will be responsible for overseeing the group’s diverse investments in Pakistan and driving them for profitable growth and maximum return to shareholders.
