Strategic programme: Gen Qamar lauds efforts of scientists

The army chief also appreciated the operational preparedness and training standards of the strategic forces

RAWALPINDI: The army chief General Qamar Bajwa visited the Strategic Plans Division on Monday. He was received by the Director General Strategic Plans Division Lieutenant General Mazhar Jamil and was given a briefing regarding Pakistan’s strategic programme.

According to a press statement, Gen Qamar underlined the centrality of Pakistan’s strategic programme against any specific threat to the country’s security.

He also lauded the efforts of scientists and engineers involved in the development programmes, which have made Pakistan’s defence formidable.

The army chief also appreciated the operational preparedness and training standards of the strategic forces.
