Quick action: Motorway police recovers stolen car

Motorway Police have said that they had recovered a stolen car and arrested the suspected car lifter. In a statement released on Monday, MP received information on their helpline that a silver 2013 Honda Reborn Model had been stolen from Lahore. All Motorway patrols were alerted about the theft. A few minutes later, NH&MP officers PO Manzoor Husain and SPO Tariq Tarar intercepted and stopped the car on GT Road near Kammoki and arrested the suspected car lifter, Muhammad Azam.  Later, the Motorway  Police handed the suspect and the car to the  concerned local police station for further investigation and legal action. Separately, the Inspector General NH & MP Shaukat Hayat distributed commendation certificates among MP officers for their performance.
