The victims were identified as Daim Sial, Hamid Shah, Gulzar Channa and two brothers Sonu and Sajjad.
Crammed with 30 odd passengers, the boat sank not too long after setting sail. Rescuers managed to pull 20 passengers to safety late Friday night. Some others managed to swim to the river bank. Four passengers, however, are still missing.

The devotees had boarded the boat from the mausoleum of Muhabat Pir Patan, situated on the right bank of the River Indus. The devotees had come from Khairpur.
Divers pulled out one man alive last night but he did not survive. Rescue workers says the strong current of water was hampering rescue efforts.
