LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) claimed to have arrested six suspects from Punjab for their involvement in human trafficking and preparing forged immigration documents. The Sialkot FIA arrested a proclaimed offender and notorious human trafficker identified as Muhammad Shahbaz booked in at least three cases. The Gujrat FIA also conducted a raid and arrested a land route agent identified as Javed Iqbal alias Javed Musali. At the Lahore airport, the FIA authorities off-loaded a passenger named Ali Sher was arrested after he was found to be travelling on a forged Schengen visa. Three other suspects were also arrested for extorting money from people interested in going to Canada.
