This was stated in a report filed by the presiding officer of the accountability court where NAB has filed two corruption references before the SHC.

The presiding officer said that Memon failed to appear in court to face trial despite obtaining pre-arrest bail from the high court till January 31. Therefore, the process has been initiated to declare him as an absconder and details regarding his properties have also been sought.
