Six Afghans arrested in Mianwali

The foreigners were not carrying the required travelling documents.

MIANWALI: Six suspected Afghan nationals have been arrested in Mianwali because of their failure to prove identification.

The suspects have been arrested at a checkpost in Chashma and are said to be Afghan nationals.

According to police, the foreigners were arrested when they were trying to enter Punjab through the Chasma Barrage. The arrested Afghans lack the required travelling documents.

Police have filed a case against them under the Foreigners Act.

naeem khan | 13 years ago | Reply I am from Mianwali and I have observed myself that there is no proper checking at the entry points. The number of unidentified people fleeing through these checkpoints is very large.

Grace | 13 years ago | Reply @Asmat Jamal: I agree with you. We should deport all of these illegals who have destablized the nation and work for anti state elements. These same Afghanis use Pakistan when convenient when they claim asylum overseas and then badmouth Pakistan. On the other hand they commit terrorism and support India. I am glad Pakistanis are finally going to round up these culprits! We need to build a big wall to keep them all out like the US is doing to keep out Mexicans. We need to get the US to help us set up a big wall between the border of Afghanistan / Pakistan to keep them out so that stability can return to Pakistan.

Asmat Jamal | 13 years ago | Reply Why six only. They are in millions. They should be sent back to their country. Are 32 years not sufficient enough. They have doomed Pakistan. The western countries who have a lot of love for them should adopt them.
