Gun Club Case: IHC summons SHO, complainant 

Petition against an order of court directing the police to register an FIR against accused for assault

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court issued notices to the station house officer and the complainant in connection with the petition of MNA Daniyal Aziz and two others seeking the court’s help to set aside the order of a sessions court. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani issued notices to the SHO and an employee of the Gun and Country Club (GCC), Yasir Javaid, while hearing MNA Aziz’s petition against an order of a district court directing the police to register an FIR against them for allegedly assaulting Javaid.  Aziz, who is also the GCC administrator, along with GCC Secretary Ather Rauf Bhatti and GCC Manager Nauman Afzaal, have approached the court against the order of an additional sessions judge in district west passed on January 25.
