Sanitary jobs: Waste firm accused of discrimination
In the advertisement, the FWMC announced that a vacancy for the post of waste worker was available only for non-Muslims. As soon as the advertisement of the job vacancy appeared in the newspapers on January 24, the Commission for Justices and Peace (NCJP) raised concern over the matter and condemned the act.
The NCJP termed the act of the FWMC as ‘blatant discrimination against the minorities and non-Muslims’. It also said the act of the FWMC was an attempt to divide the society into segments.
