Raid In Lyari: Huge cache of weapons seized 

Recovered cache of arms and ammunition belonged to the Uzair Baloch group

KARACHI: Rangers recovered a huge cache of arms during a raid, conducted on a tip-off, at an empty flat in Lyari area on Friday. The cache of arms included four 303 rifles, four SMG rifles, two G-3 rifles, three 9mm pistols, a 0.22 rifle, a LMG rifle, a 12-bore repeater and two mini Kalashnikovs including 16,832 rounds of bullets, read a press statement issued by the paramilitary force. Apart from the arms, Rangers also recovered 301 hand grenades and several accessories used for arms including gun handles, body cover, silencers and gas masks. The statement mentioned that recovered cache of arms and ammunitions belonged to the Uzair Baloch group and was supposed to be used for targeted killing and to deteriorate peace in the city.
