Panjgur attack: Seven FC men injured in ambush

QUETTA: At least seven security personnel were injured in an ambush by militants in the Gichak area of Panjgur district, on Monday. According to reports, the FC personnel were launching a search operation in the mountainous area of Gichak when militants ambushed the security forces. The armed men who were sitting on the mountains opened indiscriminate fire on the FC personnel which injured seven FC men. Official sources said that FC personnel immediately took position and returned fire. However, the attackers were able to flee from the area. The injured FC men were shifted to the district hospital Panjgur.
