Two robbers were trying to flee on their motorcycle after looting a chicken shop in Kharadar, when Shopkeeper Zahid chased them. The thieves then opened fire and injured Zahid.
Zahid's brother then killed one of the robbers and wounded the other with his knife.
Zahid and the injured robber were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi.
Shopkeepers claimed that the two robbers regularly looted their shops and despite informing the police, no action had been taken.
The police arrested the wounded robber and started further investigations.
