A shopkeeper in Karachi captures and kills one robber and injures another.

KARACHI: A shopkeeper in Karachi captured and killed one robber and injured another on Thursday.

Two robbers were trying to flee on their motorcycle after looting a chicken shop in Kharadar, when Shopkeeper Zahid chased them. The thieves then opened fire and injured Zahid.

Zahid's brother then killed one of the robbers and wounded the other with his knife.

Zahid and the injured robber were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi.

Shopkeepers claimed that the two robbers regularly looted their shops and despite informing the police, no action had been taken.

The police arrested the wounded robber and started further investigations.

Hamid Siddiqui | 13 years ago | Reply I will not say welldone, but I know this is the result in hights of being helpless, feeling no body cares, having no trust in the judiciary , judges, governments and security agencies, and when this situation comes, one take decision in own hands. This should be an eye opener for our government, and shoud be ashaamed that the citizens are so disappointed, that they do not beleive in false promises or the corrupt system any more. And it is a warning that if it continues, cases like this or the DHA rape case, that day is not very far that a crowd will be chasing every minister and will drag them to punish them selves. Kindly do not mix it with Reymond Davis case as that was a cold murder by an implanted terrorist on a open street, where as this was purely to save himself and his belongings, there could have been a middle way, but in a resistance of self defence this happens.
