Minor Cases: 11 prisoners released from district jail

SARGODHA: At least 11 prisoners involved in minor cases were released from District Jail Sargodha on the orders of Additional District and Sessions Judge Rana Zahid Iqbal on Friday. The judge paid a surprise visit to review the arrangements for food and security of prisoners. He also visited the women and children section of the jail and listened to their problems. On the occasion, Superintendent Jail Abdul Ghafoor briefed the judge about the computerised system that was established for meetings of the prisoners with their families.
