Two more schools blown up in KP

Two schools blown up in the Darra Adam Khel and Matni areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.

Two schools were blown up in the Darra Adam Khel and Matni areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province late night on Tuesday.

In the first incident, militants fixed explosives along the boundary wall of a school in the Akhur Wal area of Darra Adam Khel.

The explosives went off late in the night, causing severe damage to the building.

In another attack, militants in the Matni area, situated near Darra Adam Khel, tied explosives to the gate of a boys’ school. These explosives also went off late night, damaging the school building.

Police cordoned off the area after the blasts and started a search for the culprits.
