Targeted: Man gunned down in Sargodha

SARGODHA: A man was shot dead in Sillanwali police limits, on Tuesday.

The police said Riffat Mehmood, a resident of Chak 64, and his relative Zahid Hussain were travelling on a motorcycle when their opponents Abdul Manan, Ramzan and Babar opened fire on them.

As a result, Riffat was killed on the spot while Zahid was injured. In another incident, a man identified as Liaquat Ali, a resident of Chak Gondal, and Farhat Bibi, committed suicide by consuming poison when their parents refused their marriage proposal.
