Careem test launches services in three new cities

Careem is also offering a launch promo called CareemKarao

Famous ride-hailing service Careem is embarking onto three new destinations within Pakistan as it plans to grow out of the main cities of Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore.

"It’s time to welcome Hyderabad, Peshawar, and Faisalabad in our ever expanding Careem family! With this test launch, we aim to embrace all vibrant cultures of our beloved nation," the ride-hailing service said in a statement.

As usual, Careem is offering a launch promo called CareemKarao that lets users travel within these cities for Rs100. However, there are certain terms and conditions attached to this promo code.

Careem is establishing a foothold in many cities of the country. It remains to be seen how Careem's main competitor Uber responds to such a step.

Careem was founded in 2012 and has operations in 47 cities across the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Pakistan.



Last year, Careem launched its services in Istanbul.
