Stoinis joins Australia as Marsh’s replacement

All-rounder will be in squad for remaining ODI matches against Pakistan

All-rounder Marcus Stoinis has been added to Australia’s ODI squad for the ongoing five-match series against Pakistan.

The 27-year-old has replaced Mitchell Marsh, who was ruled out due to a shoulder injury he sustained during the second ODI in Melbourne.

Stoins, who plays for Melbourne Stars in Big Bash League, will be travelling to Perth on Wednesday for the third match of the series which takes place on Thursday. He has previously played one ODI for Australia against England in September 2015.

Mitchell Marsh out of ODI series against Pakistan

The ODI series is currently levelled at 1-1, with Australia winning the first ODI by 92 runs in Brisbane and Pakistan claiming the victory in the second match by six wickets.
