Domestic dispute: Man survives self-immolation

After an argument with his wife, the man set himself on fire

SUKKUR: A man tried to set himself on fire and survived in Sukkur on Sunday. According to the police, Imran Malik, a resident of Agha Badaruddin Colony, set himself on fire after an argument with his wife. The family members put out the fire and shifted the injured to Civil Hospital, Sukkur. Malik was unemployed due to which his wife would often go and live with her parents. After he brought her back home, an argument broke out between them. After the argument, Malik set himself on fire. According to the doctors, he has received around 15% to 20% burn injuries and was in stable condition. A case has yet to be registered.
