SWAT: The first FIR in an honour killing case was registered against a man for allegedly killing his wife in Matta tehsil here on Monday.
Police said that the father of the deceased, Hakim Zada, lodged an FIR against the accused after the 40-year-old woman, identified as Zeenat Bibi, was killed by an unidentified assailant in Beyakan village on Sunday.

According to in-charge of Matta police station Bakht Zada, the woman died at her home because of the severity of her injuries.
