After shoot out: Police arrest suspected drug peddler

A fake identity card was also found on the man

LAHORE: A drug dealer impersonating as a police officer was arrested by the Dolphin Force after a shoot out in Shahdara on Sunday. Police received a call on Rescue 15 that a suspect was selling drugs in the locality and a team of Dolphin Squad police reached the spot to tackle the situation. The suspect, impersonating as a police official, resisted and opened fire when the police officials tried to take him into custody. The police gave a chase and arrested the suspect and handed him over to the Shahdara police. A fake identity card was also found on the man. Police have started further investigation.
