Dense Fog: Safety measures enforced

Drive directed to take action against drivers violating traffic laws

FAISALABAD: The City Traffic Police launched a campaign on Friday against light and heavy duty vehicles for not using backlight, headlight, indicators and fog lights. Arif Shahbaz Khan CTO while launching the drive directed the staff to take action against drivers violating traffic laws. He said that traffic education teams had so far installed reflectors on more than 1,867 vehicles, including slow moving vehicles during last one week.  Traffic police have also imposed a fine of Rs896,200 on 2,402 drivers for violation of line and lane.
