BAHAWALPUR: The district administration would undertake a development plan worth Rs12.9 million to install modern traffic signals at 13 different places of Bahawalpur City. The new traffic management project would help in streamlining the traffic in the city.

As part of the plan, Bahawalpur Assistant Commissioner Rao Tasleem Akhtar inspected 13 indentified places for installing traffic signals, including City Hotel Chowk, Model Town C, Lari Adda Chowk, Zoo Square and Library Chowk.

Rao Tasleem said 13 places identified for the purpose would be expanded and slip roads would also be constructed to facilitate the commuters.
