Wish granted: 435 contract employees regularized

Employees knocked the doors of the judiciary following the law that regularised contract employees except them

KARACHI: Sindh government made permanent 435 contract employees of the revenue department’s anti-encroachment cell, on court orders. These employees knocked the doors of the judiciary following the Pakistan Peoples Party law that regularised contract employees except them. The court ordered the government in November to regularise these employees. According to notification issued by the Board of Revenue, the summary pertaining to the regularisation was approved in December last year and they will now work as permanent employees.
