LAHORE: The Punjab chief minister Mian Shahbaz Shairf took notice of a news item regarding the purchase of 28 new security vehicles worth Rs 312.2 million and ordered that no new vehicle would be purchased for the security of VVIPs.
According to a handout, the spokesman clarified that the chief minister has ordered that no new vehicle for the escort of VIPs would be purchased in the future by the Punjab government.
