cyber crime: Man held for taking compromising photos of ex-fiancé

ABBOTTABAD: A young man, suspected of taking nude pictures of his former fiancé and sharing it on social media, has been apprehended by Sherwan police.

Sherwan police said that 17-year-old B*, a resident of Kothiala, had gotten engaged to Hafiz a few years ago. She told police that her parents had broken off the engagement a couple of months back and returned all the gifts that his family had sent for her claiming that Hafiz was not of good character.

This, however, infuriated Hafiz who kept threatening her and her family. Three days ago, he showed up at her home when she was alone. He allegedly partially stripped her and took her photographs with his cell phone. He subsequently started sharing the photographs with male members of her family and posted them on social media.
