Fee to be waived on exports to Afghanistan
Pakistan Flour Mills Association (PFMA) Chairman Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa announced that a fee will be waived on the issuance of an authority letter for the export of wheat products to Afghanistan.
The decision would promote commerce and industry. Haji Sartaj Ali Khan, an official from PFMA said that the country has sufficient reserves of wheat.
He said that the decision to increase the quota of wheat exported to Afghanistan from 0.2 million tons to 2 million tons has saved the national exchequer a huge loss. Khan added that the decision will not only increase employment, but people will also have access to good quality flour.
