KARACHI: A student injured his teacher in a knife attack in a case of personal enmity in Ittehad Sector 17 in Saeedabad area on Saturday. A 14-year-old student, Taimur, had gone to his 40-year-old teacher, Ibrahim Akbar’s house for a tutoring session when an argument broke out between the two. A knife fight ensued between the two and as a result, Taimur injured his teacher. Akbar was shifted to Civil Hospital, Karachi for treatment, according to the police. Meanwhile, Taimur was taken into police custody for further questioning but was later released. The initial inquiry suggests that Taimur was not at fault, shared duty officer Ismail. Further investigation is under way, he added.
