Six officers killed in ambush

At least six security personnel were killed when militants ambushed a security patrol in Bara tehsil.

At least six security personnel were killed and three others were injured when militants ambushed a security patrol in Bara tehsil of the Khyber Agency on Thursday.

According to sources, the attack came in the Alam Godar area of the Bara tehsil when militants opened fire on a Khasadar Force vehicle. They said that the patrol was on its way to Dogra check-post from Shakas area.Security forces cordoned off the area following the attack and started a search operation.
