LAHORE: Workers from all faiths must battle together to overcome disasters, said Rescue 1122 Punjab Director-General Dr Rizwan Naseer on Friday while speaking at a Christmas lunch and cake-cutting ceremony for Rescue 1122’s Christian employees. Naseer wished a Merry Christmas to Christians working with Rescue 1122 in Punjab, saying all divine religions preached humanity first and people must work for the welfare and progress of society. He said such unity must be practiced not only in Pakistan, but across the globe. Renowned Urdu poet Saadullah Shah, senior officials of the service and around 50 rescue staff belonging to the Christian Community took part in the ceremony.
