ISLAMABAD:
Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) office on Friday where he was briefed about the role of the military’s media wing.

The outgoing Lt-Gen Asim Bajwa, under whose leadership the ISPR played a pivotal role in conveying authentic military-related news, spoke to the COAS about the functions of the ISPR.




Gen Bajwa formally welcomed as COAS at GHQ

The army chief lauded the role ISPR has been playing as an institution and also interacted with the military officers at the media wing office.

The newly posted military officers namely CGS Lt-Gen Bilal Akbar, VCGS Maj-Gen Azhar Saleh and DG ISPR Maj-Gen Asif Ghafoor were also present.

A major reshuffle in the army earlier during the month saw changes of the ISPR’s head with Maj-Gen Asif Ghafoor replacing Lt-Gen Asim Bajwa.
