In Islamabad, a mosque for transgender community
Speaking to The Express Tribune, district administration member Afsar Khan from the sub-division said that the ban had been imposed after an application was submitted by local representatives saying that such parties had become a nuisance for the people. Khan said the community was still free to organise such programmes privately. We are not against dance parties; we have only banned public programmes of this kind, he added.
