The President said this while addressing the Annual Parents’ Day at Cadet College Hasanabdal on Wednesday. Principal Cadet College Hasanabdal Maj Gen (retd) Najeeb Tariq, students, parents and people belonging to various walks of life were also present.
The President said that Cadet College Hasanabdal is playing an important role in imparting quality education and training to the determined youth for the defense and service of motherland. He stated that we are indebted to innocent children and teachers martyred in APS Peshawar tragedy and pay tribute to their bravery and courage and resolve that we will never allow such a situation in future which may jeopardize the life of not only our children but of any Pakistani.
The President underlined that the teachings and politics of the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah are a great asset for us and under its guidance we can get rid of our problems to pave the way towards progress and development.
The President emphasised that we need to stand on our feet instead of relying on others and for this it is necessary that the youth should optimally utilise their abilities for national progress. The President advised the youth to continue acquiring higher education for the growth and development of Pakistan without being influenced by internal and external propaganda. He said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will be a game changer for the whole region and stressed that the youth should be fully prepared to benefit from the emerging opportunities.
The President stressed upon the students to work with dedication and excel in their respective fields of interest and contribute in the development and stability of our beloved homeland.
The President commended the administration of Cadet College Hasanabdal on organiaing an excellent ceremony and also gave away awards, medals and certificates to the students.
