A meeting to review the arrangements was held at the Committee Room of DCO office in Bahawalpur on Wednesday. District Officer Coordination Amjad Bashir presided over the meeting.
Shan-e-Bahawalpur Award 2016 would be given to prominent personalities of the district in recognition of their splendid and glorious services in various fields.
Shan-e-Bahawalpur would have two categories to recognise the outstanding services of the nominees which include life time achievement and annual award.
The annual award is a practical manifestation to pay tribute for the exemplary and the glorious services rendered by the citizens of the district in the wide ranging areas which include sports, literature, lok wirsa, culture, education, health, agriculture, science and technology.
