PESHAWAR: Unknown miscreants blew up a NATO oil tanker near Peshawar's Taj market which was carrying fuel to Western forces in Afghanistan.
Nearby shops and vendors also caught fire from the burning tanker.
The fire brigade managed to control the fire after a while and the area was cordoned off.
Losses resulting from the fire were estimated at millions of rupees. However, no casualties were reported.
Last week, 15 NATO oil tankers were blown up by armed militants who killed four people and wounded 17 others before the attack.
