HYDERABAD: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) President Anis Ahmed Qaimkhani on Saturday said his party’s struggle was aimed at ensuring people got their due rights.

“PSP’s movement is for the rights of the people and those in power will have to give people their due rights,” he said during a visit to Hyderabad, adding that there had been no development in the city in the last 30 years.

Speaking at the corner meetings, flag hoisting ceremonies and meetings with general people during his visits to market areas in Latifabad in connection to the Pukka Qila Ground PSP general meeting, he said that there are hardly any educational or medical care facilities in the city while the industrial area is presenting a deserted look. “People do not have access to clean drinking water in the city.”

Senior vice-chairman Anis Advocate, vice chairman Ashfaq Mangi, secretary general Raza Haroon and secretary information Iftikhar Alam also accompanied him.

A prayer ceremony was also organised by PSP workers at a camp at Pukka Qila Ground in connection with December 16. It was also attended by a large number of general people.

Addressing the gathering PSP secretary Raza Haroon said the day marks a deep sense of grief for the people of Pakistan because on this day their homeland was broken through the conspiracies hatched by the enemy. He said that the attack on the students of Army Public School was a barbaric act. Prayers were offered for those who sacrificed their lives in the incident.
