Six held for fireworks at wedding in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Police on Saturday conducted a raid at a wedding party and held six people displaying firearms and using firecrackers, a spokesman to the police department said in a statement.

During the raid, Banni police arrested Mohsin Ali, Sikander, Ijaz, Kashif, Rehman and Asif.

Police have registered separate cases against the suspects for violating laws banning display of firearms and areal firing besides confiscating firecrackers from their possession, the spokesman said.
