At least eight injured as passenger train collides with trailer

At least seven people were killed and eight others injured when a passenger coach collided with a trailer in Nukundi area of Chagi District on Saturday.

The passenger coach was en route to Taftan from Quetta when it collided with the trailer approaching from the opposite side. The injured were shifted to Dalbandine hospital for treatment.

One killed, 30 students injured in Islamabad bus accident

Last month, one person was killed and 30 students injured when an International Islamic University bus collided with a motorcycle before it crashed into an electricity pole near Islamabad’s G-11 area.

The deceased, reportedly identified as a university student, was trampled to death after the driver of the International Islamic University bus lost control of the vehicle. The bus also crashed into an electricity pole, injuring at least 30 students on board.

The injured were shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for treatment, according to Radio Pakistan.
