Celebrity spotting: Who wore it better?
Here’s how B-town cutie Alia Bhatt and Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland turned up heat in similar yet different outfits
KARACHI:
Red carpets are synonymous with voluminous gowns and flowy silhouettes but floral prints and asymmetrical cuts continue to be the rage this season. A bevy of international celebrities have donned swoon-worthy ensembles. Here’s how B-town cutie Alia Bhatt and Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland turned up the heat in similar yet different outfits.
Alia Bhatt
At the Star Screen Awards 2016, the Kapoor & Sons actor sashayed down the red carpet in a rather quirky avatar. Alia donned Sachin & Babi separates featuring a peach coloured strapless, embroidered asymmetric top and black pants. The embellished top was breathtakingly refreshing and gorgeous. However, we feel she could have done without the blue eye shadow that just didn’t suit her. The starlet donned strappy sandals and chose to flaunt her hair in soft curls.
Sarah Hyland
For the 2016 Emmy Awards, the Hollywood beauty skipped a floor-skimming gown for a pair of black trousers. She looked absolutely stunning in a Monique Lhuillier ensemble from the Resort 2017 collection. While some might say Hyland’s trousers and dramatic bandeau top combination should have landed her on the worst dressed list, we were actually quite fond of this look. It was good to see the style icon take a risk and do something different. We absolutely love how she chose to tie her hair in an up-do, highlighting her blonde streaks and completed her look with chunky gold earrings.
